Nancy Whelan

Nancy is uniquely qualified to service the needs of her real estate clients due to her ability to blend her knowledge of the real estate business with her prior marketing experience. She has owned several homes in the New England area, and completed extensive renovations to many of these homes.

Prior to her career in real estate Nancy held several high profile marketing positions. She served as a Press Aide in the West Wing of the White House during the Reagan Administration.

She worked at PEOPLE magazine for several years and was then hired by a renowned public relations firm in New York City. Nancy is well known for her in depth knowledge of the south shore real estate market, where she specializes in buying and selling homes in Cohasset, Hingham, Norwell and Scituate.

Formerly of New Canaan, Connecticut and Long Island NY, Nancy has lived in Cohasset with her husband Dr. Chris Whelan and their three children for eight years. She and her family enjoy spending leisure time at family homes in Vero Beach, Florida and Nantucket, MA.

Nancy is actively involved in numerous charitable organizations including the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Cohasset public school parent organization and St. Stevens Episcopal Church in Cohasset. Nancy, an avid tennis player, skier and runner is a member of Black Rock Country Club, the Cohasset Tennis Club, The Scituate Racquet Club and the South Shore Art Center. Nancy is a graduate of St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY.
